Essentially, this would be a database of all existing grants for NTIA and MBDA (ITA is not a part of the project because they have fewer grant recipients). It would contain grantee name, award number, dollar amount, start date, end date, etc. Along with these fields, NOAA's system would notify, through email, when a recipient was late in submitting financial and progress reports. Not only can the system be used to handle current awards, but because of an interface with grants.gov, it could be used in the pre-award process, including allowind panel review boards to gain temporary access to the site in order to review applications. The system will be used for the entire life-cycle of all grants. Once the site is operational, our website will provide the link on this page.
